The Central Laser Facility (CLF) uses IRIS digital infrastructure to support a range of data-intensive scientific activities associated with its world-leading laser facilities. Experiments undertaken at CLF generate increasingly large and complex datasets that require reliable storage, efficient data movement and advanced analysis capabilities. Through IRIS, CLF researchers and users benefit from computing and data services that support the capture, management and long-term stewardship of experimental data. In particular, the CLF Octopus platform uses IRIS infrastructure to provide scalable access to data and analysis environments, helping researchers work more effectively with experimental results and collaborate across institutions. Beyond Octopus, CLF activities make use of IRIS storage, data management and digital infrastructure services to support facility operations, scientific workflows and the preservation of valuable research data, enabling researchers to extract maximum scientific value from experiments conducted at the facility.
