SCARF is an HPC (High Performance Computing) cluster open to all STFC departments and partner organisations, which is run by STFC’s Scientific Computing Research Infrastructures Group and it is hosted at STFC’s Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. It supports STFC Facilities by providing compute and gpu resources integrated with low-latency, high speed infiniband networks to allow the processing of workloads that span multiple systems.
